Maintenance Tips
  • Inspect all AC, DC, PV, battery, and grounding connections regularly, ensuring terminals are clean, secure, and tightened to the manufacturer's specified torque.
  • Keep the inverter, charge controller, and pre-wired enclosure clean and free of dust and debris. Ensure ventilation openings remain unobstructed for proper cooling.
  • Monitor inverter performance, battery charging status, PV input, and system alerts through the monitoring interface to identify potential issues early.
  • Periodically inspect breakers, fuses, disconnects, surge protection devices, and communication cables for corrosion, loose connections, or signs of wear.
  • Disconnect PV arrays, battery banks, and AC power before performing maintenance or cleaning, following all recommended electrical safety procedures.
  • Inspect the enclosure, conduit fittings, cable glands, and weather seals for moisture intrusion, corrosion, or physical damage, especially in outdoor installations.
  • Update inverter and charge controller firmware only when recommended by MidNite Solar to maintain compatibility, performance, and system reliability.
  • Schedule an annual inspection by a qualified technician to verify inverter operation, charging performance, electrical connections, grounding integrity, and overall off-grid system safety.
