Maintenance Tips
- Clean daily with mild detergent and warm water; avoid abrasive pads to protect aluminum frame and pan slides.
- Rinse and dry thoroughly after cleaning to prevent moisture buildup and preserve corrosion resistance.
- Inspect 3-1/4" universal pan slides regularly for bending, wear, or food debris buildup that can affect loading.
- Check welded frame and corner joints periodically to ensure structural stability under heavy pan loads.
- Lubricate caster wheels (if equipped) for smooth, safe movement in commercial kitchen environments.
- Ensure casters roll freely and lock mechanisms function properly before transport or stationary use.
- Avoid overloading beyond rated capacity (typically 10-pan universal steam table/bun pan configurations) to prevent frame stress.
- Keep rack aligned and evenly loaded to maintain balance during movement and storage.
- Store in a dry, ventilated area when not in use to reduce oxidation and extend equipment lifespan.
