The existing M-series mulcher range already addresses the top end of the power spectrum for the largest tractors on the market. Attention has now shifted toward compact tractor owners who need a dependable, efficient tool to maintain even the most demanding green spaces. The new Microforst PTO unit, built around a mechanical power take-off system, is engineered for tractors in the 30 to 60 hp (22 to 44 kW) range.
The Microforst PTO handles underbrush and woody vegetation up to 13 cm (5 in) in diameter. It is purpose-built for PTO-driven tractors that require a robust forestry mulcher capable of handling intense land-clearing tasks. Suitable for compact tractors or municipal utility vehicles up to 44 kW, this lightweight design also delivers the stability needed when operating on sloped terrain. The maximum recommended tractor weight is 2 tons.
Built Lightweight Without Sacrificing Strength
The engineering specifications of the Microforst PTO mirror those of the larger mulchers in the lineup, yet the unit tips the scales at under 600 kg (1,300 lb). Thanks to its AR400 steel construction, the mulcher delivers excellent wear resistance and an extended service life despite its reduced overall weight.
